Born in Saga, Japan in 1964.   Kimihiro MORITA became a pupil of an artist SAKAKURA Yoshinobu (A counselor of Nitten, a member of the board director of Kofukai, a member of Le Salon) from 1990.  He graduated from Musashino Art University, majored in Oil Paintings in 1988, completed the graduate course with the first prize in 1990.  Then, he worked as an assistant of Professor Office of Oil Paintings, and worked on his self project of crowns and Mythology at the same time.  Since 1993, he has been traveling Assisi in Italy, sketching Umbrian landscapes and working on Saint Francis.  He taught Oil Paintings, Water Colors and Paintings on China for Ginza Art School, Tokyo, and worked as a curator of Life Long Study for Tokyo Bunkyo Ward Education Committee.  In 1997, he served as an examiner of Painting Section of Fujitsu Culture Exhibition, and taught in Oil Painting Course of Bunkyo Ward University or Bunkyo Ward Adult Painting Circle. He then run a business of MOON ART Gallery with HIRAI Emi in Kumamoto in 2001. In 2006,he published a little picture book "Francis, The Little Saint of Assisi"(Japanese&Italian), and salled at Assisi. In 2007, the gallery was moved to Chiba, near Tokyo, named "Galleria ASSISI". In 2009 December, he will publish a picture book "Francis and the regulation"as the 800th anniversary to found of OFM , under the auspices of OFM-Japan. Now you can see his oil paintings at Assisi "CARLI ARTE"(Italy) , Seto-shi "ART Gallry ROCA"(Japan) and "Galleria ASSISI". In May 2017, the gallery moved to Yamaga City, Kumamoto. Hi is a Christian ( Roman Catholic Church in Yamaga city affiliation Laity ).
